Except all of that is bullshit and I have used all of those while dreaming. i guarantee that I’ve used my laptop while dreaming. Here’s a better way I’ve learned:

If you are in a dream and realize you’re dreaming, you can control it, right? try to erase something from existence. If it stays, The only other option is that you can’t effect anything at all. Kick the covers, pick something up and throw it. If physics conforms to reality. You’re good.

Don’t make up tips a tricks like this that aren’t gonna work, dude. As a person who deals with that, it would only serve to make me more paranoid.
